We Are The Night is a German vampire horror film. Before you judge the movie by its cover, like I did, know that this a dark movie. In fact, the poorly designed cover would make you believe this is some tween Twilight inspired horror flick. Surprisingly, I read about similarities to Let The Right One In.
While I can’t agree that it’s anything like Let The Right One In, it shares the dark appeal. The action scenes leave a lot to the imagination. At the point where the action climaxes, it immediately cuts to the next scene. For some, this may not be your cup of tea.
The movie is well acted, and the production value was much higher than what I expected, especially after seeing that poorly designed cover. It has a decent, yet predictable, ending. We Are The Night is not a movie that everyone will like, but it should hold your interest if you like dark horror.
